Learn How to Sing!

I think of when I was basically knowing how to sing and play guitar trying to figure out how on earth people could sing and play guitar same time. Besides, it was difficult enough learning guitar, never mind learning to sing and memorize all those words and a melody too!

It was not until about 5 years ago that I ever genuinely started out learning to sing and play guitar significantly and I was really pushed into it too. I build a guitar/keyboard combo firstly as some fun and as the keyboard player won't sing then I landed up to sing and play guitar same time, and I tell you I presently love it!

Devoid of blowing my own bark I can practically now sing and play guitar hence below are 4 basic things that I found have guided me as I progress:

1) Start off with quite simple, strum-along songs. A real simple strategy would be something like "Summer Of 69 by Bryan Adams" or "Father & Son by Cat Stevens", just give it a go!

2) Learn how to play the chords first.

3) Learn the lyrics thoroughly. This for me is the key. If you are having to read or endeavoring to remember lyrics you will really have difficulty. I'm do not comfortable until I have the lyrics nailed down.

4) Don't be anxious very much roughly being word or melody perfect. I sometimes find that rephrasing the tempo of the lyrics fits much better with the guitar rhythm so make the song your own!

The good thing is that you will also see that learning curve is very quick. After you can perform just some songs then many more will adopt instantly.
